Privacy Statement

01 / Scope
This statement covers scheduled and smart reminders, attendance confirmations, and Miao Mini device management in the Miao app. Miao does not clock in or out on your behalf.
02 / On-device data
The app stores work schedules, reminder modes and intervals, rest-day status, clock-in/out confirmations, and added-device identifiers and settings on your device to provide reminders and display records. The current app does not integrate a service for uploading these records.
03 / Bluetooth and location permissions
Bluetooth is used to discover, identify, and manage Miao Mini. iOS handles background iBeacon region detection through Location Services. “Always” access allows entry and exit events in the background or with the screen locked. Miao does not read geographic coordinates, record routes, or upload location data. “Always” access does not mean continuous tracking.
04 / Notifications
Notifications deliver the reminders you configure. They may appear on the Lock Screen or a paired Apple Watch according to system settings. You can change their visibility, sound, or disable them in Settings. Disabling notifications prevents the corresponding reminders from reaching you.
05 / Sharing and user-initiated exports
The current app does not integrate third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. If you choose to export or share diagnostics, review the contents before sending. You choose the recipient and sharing channel. Information you send by email is used to respond to your inquiry.
06 / Your controls
You can change reminders and delete added devices in the app, and revoke Bluetooth, location, or notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Revoking permissions may affect smart reminders. Uninstalling the app removes its local data; device-backup retention and restoration follow your system backup settings.
